BRIDGES OVER THE A22, VIENNA
On behalf of ASFINAG Service GmbH, abutments, retaining walls and bridge supports of two bridges on the motorway A22 were rehabilitated and protected by cathodic corrosion protection (CP) from further corrosion. A dual anode system was used: titanium mesh ribbon anodes 50 cm below and above the ground surface, composite anodes at the top of the concrete components.
On behalf of ASFINAG Service GmbH, convex ZT GmbH was responsible for the tender preparation (contract specifications and quantity survey), the evaluation of the offers (including support for the assignment), the site supervision of construction and electrical works, and the required inspections and audits. The works were based on the status assessment prepared by the Technikum Kärnten Forschungs-Gesellschaft m.b.H.. The final acceptance inspections were done jointly by convex ZT GmbH and the Technikum Kärnten Forschungs-Gesellschaft m.b.H..
