Bagdad Bismayah Combined Cycle Power Plant is being built by Mass Group Holding (MGH) from Jordan on behalf of Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity. The Power Plant is being developed in two phases, each having 1.500 MW. The GE 9FA gas turbines have a combined rated capacity of 2.080 MW, the remaining 920 MW capacity is generated by the steam turbines. The Power Plant is part of the Bismayah New City project, that covers the construction of more than 100.00 homes incl. the entire infrastructure required.

APPA Consult GmbH is acting as Owner’s Engineer on behalf of MGH. Within the team of APPA, convex ZT GmbH is responsible for the design review of civil works.
