FLUE GAS DESUPHURISATION TURCENI

The brown coal power station Turceni in Romania, currently active with a capacity of 1.260 MW, will be equipped with a flue gas desulphurisation plant. The international tender of this Japanese financed project was won by Austrian Energy and Enviroment AG & Co KG (AE&E).

The turnkey contract includes the design, the construction works, the electrical and control systems of the four flue gas scrubbers and the ancillary parts limestone processing unit, flue gas system and gypsum dewatering unit. The guide design for civil works and the civil works tender during the tendering of AE&E was prepared by convex ZT GmbH. In the execution phase, convex ZT GmbH is responsible for the design co-ordination between AE&E, civil contractor and civil designer as well as for the contract management of civil works.
