FLUE GAS DESULPHURISATION PLANT, SLOVNAFT
AE&E has received an order from MOL for the supply of a turnkey flue gas desulphurisation system for the Slovnaft refinery in Bratislava. The conventional, two-line flue gas desulphurisation system based on limestone technology for five existing and two new heavy oil fired boilers will remove the sulphur compounds in the flue gas emanating from the combustion process for energy generation.
On behalf of AE&E, convex ZT GmbH is carrying out the entire construction permit and civil works detail design and the site supervision works (partially). The heavy structures of the plant will be founded on in-situ cast bored piles with a diameter of 0,8 m – 1,2 m. The absorber is carried out in reinforced concrete, whereby inside a full lining made of polyethylen plates is foreseen for reasons of corrosion protection.
