CCPP PETROBRAZI
The Petrobrazi Combined Cycle Heat and Power Plant (CCHP) is located in the municipality of Brazi, which is situated about 4 km south east of town of Ploiesti, about 40 km to the north of the city of Bucharest. The site of the powerplant will be within the area of the Petrobrazi Refinery. The power export capacity will be in the order of 860 MW. Fuel oil is considered as emergency fuel.
The feasibility study and tender for the powerplant was done by Pöyry Energy GmbH. On behalf of Pöyry Energy GmbH, parts of the layout design and the complete civil works permit design (PAC) was carried out by convex ZT GmbH in co-operation with our local partner, ISPE (www.ispe.ro). Additionally, an architectural and colour concept was developed (A. Wagner) and presented by means of 3-D renderings and a movie (G. Schönauer).
