HEPP LENGARICA
enso Hydro GmbH is building the hydro powerplant Lengarica in the Gjirokaster province in the Southeast of Albania. The Project is scheduled to generate an annual production of 32.2 GWh with an installed capacity of 9 MW. The river diversion type hydro powerplant can draw on a relatively large catchment area of 270 km2, the net head will be 148 m. A headrace tunnel of 4 km length is used as a temporary reservoir to optimise production.
On behalf of enso Hydro GmbH, convex ZT GmbH was acting as check engineer of the civil design and partially checking the invoicing.
